Dominic Wilford is an experienced leadership and negotiation specialist whose career combines senior military service with commercial advisory experience across a broad range of industries and international markets.
A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Dominic served for 25 years in the British Army, attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before leaving military service. During his military career, he developed extensive expertise in leadership, strategic planning, operational decision-making and negotiation, often in complex and demanding environments where sound judgement, adaptability and the ability to influence others were essential.
Since transitioning into consultancy, Dominic has worked with organisations ranging from major international corporations to SMEs, advising senior executives and their teams on commercial negotiation, leadership effectiveness and strategic decision-making. His approach combines the discipline and analytical rigour of his military background with a practical understanding of the commercial challenges facing today's business leaders.
As a specialist consultant since 2013, Dominic has advised Bridge][ability clients across multiple sectors and international markets, helping organisations navigate complex negotiations, strengthen leadership capability and achieve sustainable commercial outcomes.
Dominic brings a distinctive perspective to Friisberg's leadership and management consulting activities, particularly in the assessment, development and mentoring of senior executives, stakeholder engagement, negotiation strategy and decision-making under pressure.
He holds a Master of Arts from Cranfield University and has completed the Advanced Management Achievement Course at Manchester Business School.
