Suzan is a HR professional and before joining Friisberg Türkiye she has been responsible for all the global recruitment of EMEA & North America for Symgery a Canadian scale-up providing VR, robotic and biomimetic simulation products for medical education.
Previously she also was the Head of Talent & Culture for a Dubai based start-up, working with remote and distributed teams and giving consulting services for digital transformation and disruption. She was responsible for developing & implementing the strategy to cover organizational and people needs of the business and growing a global team.
She has been a Recruitment Consultant for technology roles since July 2017 for various industries. She is a polymath and has diverse core business experience in technology, telecom, healthcare and art & culture sectors.
She started her career in Turkcell a leading GSM company in Turkey and held roles as a Database Administrator, System Design Architect, Infrastructure Planning Senior Architect and Information Security Project Lead.
Pursuing her interest in History she continued her career as a Research Assistant at Koç University and did the first and only research project in Turkey about the demographics of museum audiences.
After that she held a senior management role in International Marketing for American Hospital and developed the international business.
She is a graduate of ITU Mathematics Engineering, holds a MSc in Engineering & Technology Management from Boğaziçi University, an MA in Art History from Koç University and an MA degree in Tour Guiding and Tourism Administration from Osman Gazi University.
She is also a licenced country guide for Turkey and was the VIP guide for Contemporary İstanbul and the Biennial of İstanbul.
Suzan Kahraman was born in Shumen, Bulgaria and is currently living in İstanbul.
